Procastination

Its 18:45 pm on a Tuesday evening.
Have I studied this evening after school?
No?
Do I plan to?
Yes. As soon as I finish this blog. At least that`s what I hope.....

When did I get home?
Just about 4

What did I do?
Shower
Eat
Relax
Watch the News- Very interesting stuff!
Go on Instagram
As well as looking up other stuff.

Why?

Because I like to put things off. If there was an award for someone who procrastinated the most. I would win. Something I keep telling my friends.

And its true.

But am I the only one?

No.

So many of us procrastinate on a daily basis.
Why?

Because we don`t want to do work? - Its long, boring, we think we will do it later.

But when is that later coming?

An hour? Two hours, 5 hours, tomorrow, the day after, a week? And then so much work keeps piling up and we have to add that work on top.  Which causes us to get stressed.
We then think to ourselfs: "I am not leaving work to the last minute again!". But we carry on.

Your probably thinking whats the point to all this?
Why am I telling you things that you already know?

Quite frankly, I don`t think I know myself.

Its now 18:54, 9 minutes have passed by, time is ticking so fast possibly because every word I type out just comes to me . I did not plan to write this. It just happened.

I was just reading my friends blog and I was thinking: why not write a post?

So many things we plan to do, but do we actually do it?

No.

I watched a video on Youtube: called How to beat Procrastination by Watch Wellcast.

I found that video very interesting but does it actually work? It only works if you let it. If you free your mind from distractions from a certain amount of time.

At times, it actually works but for how long?

I know its all about "actions speak louder than words". However, I`m just pointing out something.
I am by no means saying I will never procrastinate again but what I want to know is how do you feel about procrastination? How do you think it affects you? Also how can you lower the level of it? If you can.
